Untitled Poem #1

Your hands were small and meek,

but they held my whole world.

Your bones shook when I made you laugh,

even more when you made me laugh.

In that moment, you had complete control over me.

As my breath hitched from laughter, you could have

taken me,

broken me,

loved me,

hated me.

But you didn’t do any of those things.

You just laughed.
